Reviewing Winning Trades For A Repeatable Edge
A 1-minute lesson from the MarketPro academy, one of 14 in trade journaling and review.
It's tempting to only scrutinize losing trades, but winning trades deserve just as much review. The goal is to understand whether a win happened because of a repeatable process or because of luck — since only the former can be relied on going forward.
It's tempting to only scrutinize losing trades, but winning trades deserve just as much review. The goal is to understand whether a win happened because of a repeatable process or because of luck — since only the former can be relied on going forward.
A structured review of a winning trade asks whether the entry matched a defined setup, whether trade size and the stop followed the plan, and whether the outcome would likely have been similar under slightly different market conditions.
