Reviewing Losing Trades Objectively
A 1-minute lesson from the MarketPro academy, one of 14 in trade journaling and review.
Losses are a normal part of trading, but not all losses are equal. Learning to review them objectively — separating "the process was fine but the market moved against me" from "I broke my own rules" — is one of the more valuable skills a journal can build.

A useful review asks a consistent set of questions for every losing trade: Was the setup valid according to your rules? Was the position sized correctly? Did the stop loss get placed where planned, or moved? Was the loss simply the strategy's normal variance playing out?
