Choosing a forex broker, and what MarketPro supports

Broker review sites are almost always ranked by commission rather than by quality. Rather than add another, this is the checklist that matters and an honest statement of which brokers MarketPro actually integrates with.

  • A seven-point checklist
  • Linking and cashback support
  • No affiliate links
  • Signals work on any broker

Short answer

MarketPro signals work with any broker. A signal is an instrument and a set of price levels, not a broker-specific order. Where the broker matters is account linking (Exness, XM, PU Prime, Vantage) and the cashback programme (Exness and XM). Everything else in the app works without any broker account at all.

Key takeaways

  • The entity holding your account decides your leverage, protections and compensation scheme. The brand name decides none of them.
  • Compare total cost per lot, not spread or commission separately. "Zero spread" plus a high commission is not cheap.
  • Swap rates are published and almost never checked. On multi-day positions they can exceed the spread several times over.
  • MarketPro publishes no affiliate or referral links on this website. Broker links exist inside the app where the cashback programme requires them, and they are labelled.
  • You do not need a broker account to use MarketPro. Signals, academy and calculators all work without one.

Seven things to check before opening an account

  1. Which entity will hold your account, and what regulates it? Large brokers operate several entities. The one you are onboarded to depends on your residence, and it determines your leverage cap, whether client funds are segregated, and whether any compensation scheme applies. The brand name tells you none of this.
  2. What is the total cost per lot? Not the spread alone and not the commission alone. Add them. A "zero spread" account with a high commission can cost more than a standard account.
  3. What are the swap rates on what you trade? If you hold positions for days, overnight financing can exceed the spread several times over. It is published, and almost nobody checks it.
  4. What is the stop-out level? The margin level at which the broker starts closing your positions for you. Use the margin calculator to see how much adverse movement that leaves you.
  5. How are withdrawals handled? Methods, fees and typical processing time. This is where broker problems actually surface.
  6. What is the execution model? How orders fill during fast markets decides whether your stop is honoured near its level.
  7. Are Expert Advisors permitted? Nearly always yes on MetaTrader, but specific techniques such as latency arbitrage are frequently restricted. It is in the account agreement.

What MarketPro supports, precisely

Two separate things get conflated, so it is worth separating them.

Account linking is submitting a trading account in the app so it can be reviewed and associated with your MarketPro account. It is supported for Exness, XM, PU Prime, Vantage. Linking is optional; it is not required to read signals, use the academy or use the calculators.

The cashback programme returns part of your spread and commission, paid by the broker directly into your trading account. It currently runs with Exness and XM. Full detail is on the cashback page.

Everything else (the signal feed, tracking, push alerts, charts, the academy, the calculators) works with no broker account of any kind, on any broker you like.

Why there are no affiliate links here

Most broker comparison content is ranked by payout. That is not usually disclosed, and it is why so many "best broker 2026" lists contain the same names in a different order.

This website carries no affiliate or referral links to any broker. The broker pages here describe what MarketPro supports and what to check; they do not send you anywhere for a commission.

Where broker links do exist is inside the app, in the cashback flow, because a partner-attributed link is how the broker identifies an account as eligible for a rebate. That is disclosed at the point of use, and it is opt-in. We would rather say this plainly than let you find it out.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which broker does MarketPro recommend?
None. Recommending a broker is exactly the conflict of interest this page is about, and the right broker depends on where you live, what you trade and how long you hold positions. Use the seven-point checklist and pick the account whose total cost and entity suit you.
Do I need a broker account to use MarketPro?
No. Signals, tracking, charts, the academy and every calculator work without one. A broker account is what lets you place the trades, and linking one in the app is only required for the cashback programme.
Can I use MarketPro signals with any broker?
Yes. A signal names an instrument, a direction and price levels, so it can be placed anywhere that instrument trades. Verify the level against your own chart before entering, since every broker builds its own price feed.
Does MarketPro get paid by brokers?
The cashback programme is built on introducing-broker arrangements with Exness and XM, and part of that revenue is what funds the rebate paid back to the trader. It is opt-in, disclosed in the app, and there are no broker referral links on this website at all.
